Our sister company www.fosteringfirstireland.ie has a proven track record in providing high quality, well-resourced foster placements in addition to offering fostering assessments. Working with Tusla, FFI has extensive experience in providing general fostering and Section 36 relative care assessment services. We also provide these services to UK based local authorities and other EU countries in line with Article 56 of EC Regulation 2201/2003.
All of our fostering assessments are carried out through FFI in accordance with the Child Care (Placement of Children in Foster Care) Regulations 1995, the National Standards for Foster Care 2003 and Tusla’s Foster Care Committees Policy, Procedures and Best Practice Guidance 2017.

We can offer supervised access assessments for both child care and family law matters tailored to meet the needs of the individual child and family. These services are provided by our suitably experienced Independent Social Care Workers and Child Care Workers on a flexible, mobile basis.
