1. What types of assessments do you provide?

We provide independent psychology, psychiatry, social work and psychosocial assessments for children in care, child protection, medico-legal and family law matters.  To find out more click here.

2. Who do you accept referrals from?

Referrals are accepted from relevant professionals in Tusla, HSE, Court services, and solicitors representing children or parents involved in child or family law proceedings.  To make a referral enquiry contact us here.

3. Who funds the assessments?

Assessments for child care, child protection and child law are typically funded by Tusla following a detailed quotation and funding agreement. For our terms of payment see below.

Terms of Payment for Child Care Proceedings

We operate a phased payment system. Upon agreement of the terms of referral and approval of the assessment costs by the referring agent, we will issue the initial invoice for 25% of the total agreed costs. Upon completion of the assessment, we will issue the closing invoice for the balance of fees owed on account. Payment is due within 30 days of invoicing.

Assessments for Family Law may be privately funded by the parties to the proceedings through their solicitors or through the Legal Aid Board subject to approval by the Legal Aid Board.  For our terms of payment see below.

Terms of Payment for Family Law

Upon agreement of a quotation, we require payment of 50% prior to commencement of a case. The remaining 50% is due on completion of the case. Full payment must be received before the Report can be released. For your convenience we have several payment options including online payment.

4. Where are you based?

Our head office is based at Grantham House, Grantham Street, Dublin 8.

Currently our Key Assets consultants are located throughout the Eastern, Southern and Mid-Western regions. Later this year we will be opening a Southern Regional Office.

5. How do I become a Key Asset Consultant?

We are recruiting for further psychologists, social workers, social care workers and psychiatrists nationwide. To join our team you need the relevant qualifications for your profession and relevant experience. You will also need to be registered with your relevant professional body and possess professional indemnity insurance. For more details, please click here.
