We currently have two paediatric clinics in operation at our Dublin and Cork premises, facilitating comprehensive interdisciplinary assessments and support services for children and families.

Senior Psychologist – Full Time (Permanent)

 

The role will be principally based at the KAC clinic (Grantham House, Grantham Street, Dublin 8) with some work from home provisions.

 

Description of Role:

  • To provide a variety of psychological services (assessments and intervention) to children and young people (0-18 years) and their families who attend the Key Assets Consulting Clinic at Grantham House, Dublin, within an interdisciplinary framework.
  • To provide support to other consultants (SLT/OT/AP/Psychologist/Students) and management as required.
  • To work with the Quality Assurance Team in line with the quality assurance framework of Key Assets Consulting by upholding standards in high quality report writing across the full range of services provided by Key Assets Consulting.
  • To contribute to the growth and development of the services, aligned to the core culture and values. Access to regular clinical supervision and case management supports will be provided.

 

Work Hours and Location:

  • A flexible working week applies – requiring occasional evening and Saturday work. The primary base is at KAC’s modern clinic premises at Grantham House, with some travel required (depending on the clients’ needs) to schools, and community locations to ensure well evidenced assessments are provided to clients.
  • There will be an opportunity to work from home on occasions in agreement with the line manager.

 

Salary Information:

  • Remuneration is in line with the HSE’s Consolidated Salary Scale for a Senior Psychologist and is commensurate with experience. Expenses are paid for travel and any other work-related expenses as may be necessary.

 

Equipment:

  • Laptop and smart phone provided. Access to wide library of print and digital psychometric tests and online evaluation systems (e.g., WPS, Pariconnect, Pearson Q-Global, Pearson Q-Interactive).

Requirements:

  • The applicant must possess a post graduate qualification in Clinical, Educational or Counselling Psychology as recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland and/or HSE.

***International Applicants must have Dept of Health/PSI validated qualifications prior to application***

  • You will need at least 2 years’ relevant post qualification experience
  • The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years’ of relevant experience in diagnostic assessments in the areas of Autism and developmental delay and be familiar with the DSM-V /ICD10 diagnostic criteria
  • Experience of working as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team required.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality paediatric psychological assessments in clinical settings.
  • The applicant must have experience in providing a wide range of services to children and parents; including comprehensive assessments and reports, psychoeducation/coaching supports for parents, multi/interdisciplinary consultations, file reviews, comparative analysis, designing intervention supports and resources for children and families.
  • You must have a Full current Driving Licence
  • Prior experience working in a senior capacity (as supervisor/clinical lead) on a multidisciplinary team is an advantage

Business Support Officer

Permanent Full Time - 35 hours weekly

Salary commensurate with Experience – Range €30-37K.

The role will be based in our Dublin Office (Grantham Street) with the option of some remote working following probation period.

            • You will need at least 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, demanding administrative role
            • Main responsibility will be in the delivery and coordination of the referral process and clinic operations
            • You must have excellent people skills as the front facing staff member for the clinics
            • You will provide comprehensive and flexible administrative support
            • You will be a self-starter, comfortable with taking initiative and a creative problem solver
            • You will have good attention to detail and be able to handle changing priorities and deadlines
            • Strong professional communication skills essential for liaising with consultants and referring agents
            • You must have excellent organisational, IT and paperwork management skills
            • Knowledge of Child Care/ Family Law / Psychology sectors would be an advantage
